TYRE DISPOSAL

End-of-life OTR tyre disposal is not optional compliance — it is a legal obligation under Victorian and nationa environmental law. AIH operates a documented disposal policy that meets all current regulatory requirements and aligns with Tyre Stewardship Australia's national program.
EPA VICTORIA — ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT 2017
Waste tyres are classified as reportable priority waste under Schedule 5 of the Environment Protection Regulations 2021. AIH complies fully with storage, transport and disposal obligations including EPA Waste Tracker documentation.
TYRE STEWARDSHIP AUSTRALIA (TSA)
AIH aligns with TSA's national tyre product stewardship scheme. End-of-life tyres are directed to TSA-accredited collectors and recyclers wherever available, prioritising resource recovery over landfill.
AS4457 — SAFE REPAIR STANDARDS
All tyre repairs are conducted in accordance with AS4457-1 and AS4457-2, the Australian Standards for safe repair of OTR tyres and wheels. Documentation is maintained for all repaired tyres.
